Factory Shoals Campgrounds

I made this an actual location on Google Maps b/c I had a hell of a time finding it the first time I went. There are 9 sites with enough parking for two cars and a level gravel tent space big enough to hold a 3p + 2p tent comfortably. 7 of the 9 site have water front access, and they are all at most a 2 min walk to the bathroom/shower. There is warm water but if you take a shower immediately after someone else it may get cold on you (the hot water tank has to refill/reheat). We went on Labor Day and there was free firewood to make a campfire. And this wood was the great oil/sap rich wood that ignites quick and burns long. It is possible to go fishing in the river. And one can swim at your own risk. Each site is $20 for the night. And the ranger comes around 9-10pm to collect the payment. T
