Extended Stay America Suites- Miami - Airport - Doral

Arrived here as a last resort at night. The front desk man was nice, but spoke not even the tiniest bit of English. Had to use translator app to find out he also couldn't book me a room and that I had to do it myself on the app. Once I got to the room it was fairly clean. No bugs. Only complaint I have is the shower is awful. The lowest water pressure I've ever seen in my life. Like you poked holes in a water bottle and hung it upside down. The shower curtain doesn't touch the floor so water gets EVERYWHERE and this has been happening so long the bathroom floor is peeling up and molding.

The lobby reeks of cigarette smoke and the door handle flails broken and shattered as you check in your first sign this is not going to end well.||The room includes a bed with no blanket or comforter. No ice maker on site.||There is a lot of exterior noise from airplanes, voices, cars, and the environment sounds.||No onsite breakfast although its advertised as breakfast its actually a to go breakfast undoubtedly as disappointing as the stay thusfar.

I made my reservation date:01/18/2026 through Expedia. They gave me an itinerary number and a confirmation number for this hotel. I drove all the way from New York, a trip of more than 28 hours. I called 8 hours before to confirm my reservation, and they told me everything was fine, gave me the details of my room, and said everything was ready and they were expecting me. I arrived at the hotel, and the receptionist, the same woman who confirmed my reservation, told me that I didn't have a reservation, that my confirmation number wasn't in their system, and that all the rooms were booked and they had no vacancies. I have booked with this hotel more than 20 times in the past two months. January 8 was my last time here. I had the worst experience with this hotel and their staff and their rooms. My last time staying there, the water from the shower was leaking out the bottom of the bathtub all over the floor and the ac wasn’t working. I raised my concern to Expedia which then said that they have to talk to the manager to approve for a refund. They called the front desk as did I and the lady at the front desk told me the manager was aware of the problem and that he would call me back at 10 am. 12 pm came and the manager was nowhere to be found even though she had assured me he would be in at 10 and that he was aware and they were going to give me a solution.
