Extended Stay America Suites- Miami - Airport - Blue Lagoon

Currently staying here until the 12th of March 2026! This place is by FAR thee worst hotel I've ever stayed at! The staff is completely ignorant. They don't give you all the cooking utensils as advertised. To get your room swept and mopped you have to occupy a room for 2 weeks which we did and are but the staffs response was sorry its company policy🤦‍♂️! So the ignorant staff denied us a sweep and mop. Furthermore more to get toilet paper and or fresh towels you need to go to the front lobby to request it. And if you don't bring your towels up front you will be denied! Also your allowed 1 roll of toilet paper a day! The manager Juana is a very pleasant woman who has great customer service and had our stove (which didn't work the 1st week) fixed and our TV which also didn't work for a week

The experience was acceptable but left a lot to be desired in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. ||Pros: |The staff was very friendly and attentive. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The location is convenient, close to shopping areas, the Miami Airport, and plenty of places to eat. If you have a car, the access to the main roads is easy, and the hotel has a parking lot, which is a big plus.||Cons:|The back area of the complex was relatively dirty and did not feel very safe. There were several people hanging around, drinking beer in the parking lot, and it was unclear whether they were hotel guests or not. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was professional, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Manager was fantastic. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

If you are friends with someone who rated this hotel more than two stars, please understand that you are friends with a liar. The room was dingy, the bathroom was dirty, and the “free breakfast” was damn near imaginary. The shower was a unique experience. Both the shower head and the faucet ran at the same time, which I assume was intentional but felt more like a plumbing issue. The entire tub floor was covered in sand, and I honestly couldn’t tell if that was from a previous guest or an attempt to make it feel “beachy.” If that was the goal, it worked. Unfortunately, that’s not the vibe I was hoping for while trying to take a shower. The lone redeeming factor was the staff.
