Express Inn

We were passing through and needed a room for 1 night. First, there is no sign from the parking lot stating where the office was. It's hidden under the stairs. The room wasn't totally clean, was very shabby and outdated. Unknown stains on the bathroom wall, yard sale quality furniture, the molding between the floor and ceiling was missing, holes in the walls, pulled the bedstand from the wall and it was full of dirt and dust. Surprisingly, there were no bedbugs and the wall painting is hung upside down. Its next to the WaWa but in a very sketchy neighborhood. We tolerated it for 1 night but will not return or recommend.

It's OK if you're in a tough spot and need a place to stay. The owners seem to be compassionate to difficult situations.

Absolutely filthy from top to bottom. The shower was unusable and had a thick layer of grime. Every single inch of that place was either moldy or filthy, or both. The air conditioner was covered in mold on the inside and the curtains felt like they had never been washed. They really need to clean better. I can not recommend this motel to anyone and I'd recommend you stay far away.

This place is just a big disaster. I rented a room 1 night it was 72.66. I accidentally spilled water on my blanket and the lady at the front refused to exchange it because it was after 10pm but instead told me to put it on the floor in the corner. So I decided to give them another shot. So the next night the price shot up to $100.00 so this time the toilet was backed up I went to the desk to ask for a plunger and she refused to give me a plunger because it was almost 10pm and that was too late for her. So basically it's ok to over charge someone for a 1 star hotel but it's not ok to give them a plunger to unclog the toilet. This place is so over priced it's definitely not worth 1 penny of what she is charging. She is very unprofessional and has a very nasty attitude. I would not recommend

There are two good things about this motel- the water pressure in the showers and the Wawa right next door. That is where the positive aspects start, and finish. The room I was initially booked in to, I wish I had taken pictures, but I was in such a state of shock and panic that all I could do was escape as fast as humanly possible and run to the office and beg for a new room. The STENCH of cigarette smoke was unparalleled to anything I have ever experienced. I did not request or book a smoking room for my stay. There were light sconces hanging off the walls that didn't work, the carpet was wet, and I never even made it in to the bathroom before I ran for the hills.
