Customer Reviews
Positive: Was close to the salvation army campfround Negative: There were bugs. Roaches when turned lights on in bathroom. Shower curtain, molded. (They did replace this) See threw the sheets on the beds. smelled musty and smoke detectors were removed. It did have hot water and we kept our stuff in car.
The good: It's cheap (we payed $66 or so, taxes and fees included) and very easy to access from I-35E.||The bad: No hot water, and it was during a freeze, so we could not shower. Toilet positioned too close to a corner so you have to sit diagonally on the seat.||Sad but not really a problem: Looked someone had their kindergarten kid do the repainting, random splotches, edges missed by two inches, paint on the carpet. Linens visibly old and worn, but smelled freshly laundered so fair enough. Mattresses in the "sink into the soft sack" category, which I guess some people like.||Summary: OK if you just need to flop without spending a lot of money, and either don't need to shower or like cold showers.
If you have a service dog, please know your rights under the ADA. This establishment attempted to charge us $150 for our service dog despite that being illegal. She was made to sleep outside and when she barked, the hotel decided to kick us out and refund us. Anyone with a true service dog knows the distress a dog can go through being separated from the person they're trained to protect. I will be filing a complaint with the dept of justice and I hope to God that nobody else has to be preyed on over having a disability nobody ever asks for. If you do take a chance and stay here, please record every interaction you can as Texas is a one party consent state. Edit to add after seeing similar accounts of gross misconduct: your company policy doesn't override federal law.
$56.50 a night (for 2 nights) after tax. Seasonal pool is filled with sod. Also, they DON'T do breakfast & there aren't many food places nearby, so plan accordingly. The only USB plug is on the TV, so plug-ins are needed.. room is kinda sparce on outlets, though.
The smell off cigarettes is everywhere outside and in the room the microwave is dirty don't come here at night it doesn't feel safe
