Evergreen Valley Inn & Villas

We were to stay there from Saturday to Saturday. The room is on the Internet didn’t match what we received. When we ask if we could move to an upgraded room, we were told there were only two, which were occupied. The burners on our stove actually had aluminum foil around them. The place smell musty. The black fans were actually orange from dust accumulation. We tried to leave on Wednesday, but cost to change airfare was prohibitive.

Before even arriving to our stay we had been contacted by the staff to make the check in process easy. The staff let us know that they would be waiting at the door even after giving us codes to get in on our own. Immediately setting the tone for a comfortable atmosphere where we are their guests. They walked us to our rooms and let us know there would be coffee and continental breakfast in the mornings. Everygreen was about 30 minutes from Sunday River Mountain Resort for skiing/snowboarding which was super convenient. The game room downstairs is the perfect hangout spot! We spent hours playing pool,claw machines,shooting games and foosball. After such an amazing stay here we will definitely return yearly for our ski trip! We could not have asked for a better stay!!

The customer service is 100%. We have never seen anything like it. Monica and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay the best. I was doing flowers for a wedding being held at the Old Saco Inn. Monica made sure everything was perfect for the space I needed for doing the flowers.. We stayed in Condo #1 it had everything you would ever possibly need for a vacation. The condo was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We will be going back and telling everyone what a wonderful place in the country that it is.

The service was good. Very friendly yet were rarely around during the weekdays. I wasn't expecting a Murphy bed but it was okay. I missed my bed, I needed a softer mattress. I'm glad we had a fan in the room, but it really wasn't a hot week so I was glad because there was no air conditioning. The room could be a bit updated. The location was a little inconvenient. Thank goodness for wifi because we had no service till we were 20-30 minutes away from hotel. The closest place to grab a bite to eat was closed by 7pm as we arrived later than that and a little disappointing. Make sure you have eaten before checking later or you'll need to go back out about a 40 minute drive to get anything you may need. Very remote place, but nice & quiet.

Have you wanted to be in the middle of nowhere so you can't be bothered by anyone? Then this is the place for you! Located at an abandoned ski resort, this complex is surrounded by woods and remoteness. We stayed in a suite with a modest kitchenette, no cell service, great wifi, and three other couples/families there with us. It reminded us of The Stanley but without the scariness. We enjoyed the country atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, and literally having the place to ourselves. There's a lot of hiking, snowmobiling, boating, and hunting to be done in the area. Be prepared for no A/C, but call ahead and request one for your room for an additional fee. Also, no pool (which didn't matter to us).
