This is a basic hotel that fits the bill. It was clean, quiet, and a great location. Didn't experience the breakfast but saw some breakfast cereals and a coffee machine. Breakfast doesn't really matter though, because there's a McDonald's next door and a Piggly Wiggly if you don't want McDonald's.
Great location just south of Madison. Rooms were very clean and well equipped, including microwave and iron and board. Beds were clean and comfortable, curtains blacked out any light so you can sleep well. There were no sounds and no smells, fragrance free. |The showers had hot water and good pressure. Parking was easy and convenient. ||Evansville is a quaint town with shops and places to eat. Grocery and gas are nearby. ||I would highly recommend this location. It’s close to everything but very peaceful and a real value.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed it. It's been about a year since I've stayed there so I don't remember everything that was bad... but there was a lot. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before staying but the ones that are bad are all 100 percent right. As soon as I got there there was no one in the parking lot. That was my first bad sign. I got in and no one was at the front desk so I rand the door bell thing and I heard a bunch of movement upstairs and waited about 5 minutes for the creepy lady to come down. The service was bad and I got to the room and it was a 2 bed room. I get in there and 1 bed is completely gone with just a headboard on the wall in its place. My bad was rock hard with what appeard to be seamen on the headboard. The room was overall dirty and not well
I drove 2 HOURS to stay at this dump, thinking it was a decent place near a wedding venue. Big mistake. The moment I walk in, the front desk lady tells me, “Oh, we don’t process online bookings.” Excuse me? I BOOKED MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Apparently, I’m just supposed to show up and hope they find me a room. But wait, it gets worse. After being told my reservation didn’t matter, I tried to book a room IN PERSON and what do they do? Refuse. They said they were “full,” even though the parking lot was practically empty. So, what now? Pitch a tent in the lot? Apparently that’s the plan when you book a room here. And when I asked if there was any way to get a room—through her or anyone who knows how to do their job?—she just slammed the door in my face. LITERALLY SLAMMED THE DOOR. How is this eve
READ THE REVIEWS ON ONLINE RESERVATIONS BEING CANCELLED! We had a very pleasant experience with this hotel back in 2024 when we stayed there for a weekend event. We booked via Expedia and had no issues. We booked way in advance for 2025. We were looking forward to our stay, but due to the recent negative reviews about reservations being cancelled with no warning, I decided to call to confirm my Expedia reservation. The owner was extremely rude to me, questioning if I even understood English, when I was just trying to give her my itinerary number while explaining this reservation had been made since April. She said they did not have it in the system, refused to book me a new room online or even consider price matching touting "We're full this weekend". She then hung up on me and did not a
