Customer Reviews
My wife and I stayed 2 days here. The room was verynice, not exceptional but very nice. The food was very, very good. The chef should be commented. I enjoyed that fact that the men were all dressed in jackets and the women in very nice attire. The service was excellent. The only complaint that I had was even though the restaurant was only one-third filled everyone was seated very close in the same area. This may have made it easy on the servers, but it was a little distracting. We played golf and very much enjoyed the course even though it was extremely wet and was cart path only. The people at the front desk, in the bar , restaurant and golf shop were all very friendly helpful and professional. If you enjoygetting away for a very nice Lodge and a Donald Ross golf course this could be the
Any photographer would be happy to shoot at this classy and rustic venue, it is simply gorgeous!! If you're a bride or couple looking for a venue with a romantic lodge, it would be a great fit! There are plenty of areas on the grounds for beautiful portraits and great first-look options as well. As a wedding photography vendor that has experienced a variety of venues and what they have to offer - The Eseeloa Lodge was full of charm and character. The grounds or the Pavilion are great locations for an elegant ceremony and reception. It's a beautiful backdrop for any couple’s special day! Can't go wrong choosing this venue, it is always a delight to shoot our amazing couples at this location! @paperboysweddings
This is a historic lodge. It is an older hotel with quirks. The room we had was nice - beds though were too soft, plumbing gurgled, and toilet seat didn't fit. Our room had a window in the bathroom that overlooked the neighbors porch (awkward). Reception was efficient but not necessarily welcoming.||Breakfast and lunch were both very good. Service was top rate. We did not like the fact you had to dress up for dinner - would be helpful to have a less formal restaurant on the property.||The spa was excellent - Brandi did my service. The grounds were stunning and very beautiful.
Beautiful Mountain Lodging in the middle of the mountains. We stayed in their 2 bedroom cottage and it was nice and comfortable . Their dining options are nice. We don’t prefer to dress up for dinner so we went out every night! Room service for Breakfast was fast and delicious. I love all the wild flowers planted around the property . Very peaceful and pretty |Customer Service is excellent
My wife and I stayed at the Lodge while attending a wedding in Linville, a small mountain town that evokes memories of decades past. The Lodge is quaint, traditional and well maintained. The rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. Men are required to wear jackets in the dining room, which in this day and age is an irritant, but the food and the service are both excellent. We played golf and enjoyed the beautiful and well maintained course.
