End of the Road Resort

Best prices around. Cabins are cute and clean, fully furnished. Pirate ship playland and yard games for kids of all ages. Bait and gas on site with a small convenience store with basic grocery store items, candy, pop, ice cream, and business logo clothing for kids and adults. Clean sandy beach great for swimming. Fishing boats and pontoons for rent by the day, half day, or by the hour. Kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe. Private boat launch. This place has it all. Family owed for over 20+ years.

We could not be happier with our stay! A kind gentleman, Mr Russel, checked us in. He also went out of his way to help us plan some hikes, offering us a map, and answering all of our questions. The morning staff was amazing too. They squared us away with pool and hot tub time. When we caught fish, they offered us ice and referred to us as their guests. Very clean and relaxing! Also, go check out the coffee place. Their “chai altitude” drinks are delicious! Staff was amazing all around.

Our family goes here like clockwork every year since we found this place. Its very quiet and peaceful. Not too far from a lot of things and its a great lake for fishing. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the cabins are all kept in excellent condition. The fishing boats for rental are also top notch and come with live wells and plenty of room to move about. The only downside is its hard to muscle in a spot near the 4th of July, but you can work closer to that date each year and keep asking before you leave if something will be available next year. I look forward to my get away at the End of the Road each and every year.

Our group has been going to this resort yearly for over 20 years. Same week, same cabins, same group of 8. We were told if we wanted to return we would need to move to a smaller cabin for 6. We will not be returning. This is not how guests should be treated. It appears that the owners decided that more recent guests took precedence over us. Be prepared to be treated unkindly. Get everything in writing. And after this if you decide to rent a cabin, clean before you leave. We have seen year after year patrons not allowed to return.

We loved going to the resort each for 20+ years. Then last year we were told by Cheryl that we had to move from two cabins to one which only had 1 bathroom for 6+. We are convinced that we no longer fit her agenda in faithful patrons. We did not get our cabins back. And even worse when we questioned her on it she said we were given the option of two other cabins which had never been offered.5 tars on cabins and lake. One stR on owners disregard of faithful patrons.
