Enchanted Isle Resort

Another stay at EIR enjoying the pool/beach. I vacation here as I am able to wear my "skimpy thong/g string suits without any problems. Enjoyed reading a second straight book about the 1935 hurricane that hit the Keys

Wife and I got the penthouse! We were ON THE BEACH; 3rd floor old school Florida! We visited 2 years ago, and ready to go back. Not a fancy Hilton, just perfect location for everything quiet and functional. HUGE 3RD FLOOR DECK. No elevator. Quick drive to Lauderdale Airport. Friendly family staff.

Building is outdated and with low maintenance. However, location and customer service is wonderful. Room was clean. As said Building is bit outdated if you do not mind that the place gives nice sunset and sunshine.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel canceled my reservation without any explanation — I only found out through a notification on Booking. I sent them a message asking why it was canceled, but they never replied. We had booked these apartments well in advance, and as a result we were left without accommodation and had to find another place during our trip, which ended up being much more expensive since it was last-minute. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

Basic, but comfortable accommodations, right on the beach. Nothing fancy about the place, but we have no complaints.
