I actually camped between the lake and the trailhead. Lots of coyote and even saw my first wolf. Do not let your dogs run off leash or cable. Not only is it illegal, its a danger to the wildlife, the gracing cattle and sheep. Some great UTV trails on both sides of the border. Fishing in both the lake and streams. Enjoy, but be aware, there are no life guards. Lol. This is wild country with bears, big cats, wolves and coyotes.
