Emigrant Creek Cabin

This cabin is not for everyone. I am a believer in to each their own. It is a very clean and well appointed cabin on the interior. The outside is definitely for the naturalist. The drive from Chico Hot Springs gets very rough on a rocky dirt road as you approach the cabin. The small bridge to cross the creek is missing some railing and has a loose rotted board. A little adventure to get to the cabin. Once on the driveway, dirt path with grass growing between your tires, you arrive to a cute ,well insulated cabin in the midst of over growth. You cannot see the creek from the cabin, but can walk 75 yards to a cute walking bridge to overlook the creek. It's not for everyone, but it is very secluded and peaceful. The drive to Yellowstone is not bad once you drive on the gravel/ dirt road

Lost service in a rainstorm and had no GPS! What's a city slicker to do but text the owner who guided me to Count's Cabin. A true Gem at a price far exceeding the experience we would have had at the Yellowstone Valley Lodge. DO NOT miss the breakfast down the road at the Flour & Sun Bakery or a beer next door at the BBQ spot. Waking up to a flowing creek, clean cabin, and everything you need is provided in the kitchen. Not to mention pamphlets on the area. The cabins are even remodeled with charm, all new, with a new washer and dryer.

unique house with lots of history. the chico spa a few miles down the road made this place a great stay. tip to owner, replace the couch with a king bed, update the tv to 60in led, promote the chico spa, and maybe offer gold panning in river

Cabin was clean and cozy. Loved it!
