Emerald Door Inn

The owner and rooms are equally awesome! We came to cedar falls around 2am on a long road trip, everywhere was fully booked for memorial day weekend. I called and asked about a room around 330am and he got me in and said don't worry about being awake at 11am because we were dead tired! He was such a cool person, and don't get me started on the room! It was the cutest little place!! If I ever travel back through the area, I'll definitely be staying here again!!

Place was clean and seemed safe. Owner was pleasant & friendly. My Army son liked him a lot as he had stayed there once before. He also loved their great prices. We had plenty of space and everything we needed for us and my 2-year-old grandkid.

Hands down one of the best places I've stayed in my travels! They've really thought of everything here and I could tell they've put a lot of love into this place. It felt like staying with a friend, but better. My room was comfortable, cozy, and huge! The decor was tasteful and homey, I didn't want to leave. This is a gem! I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone passing through. Comfortable, clean, updated accommodations for an extremely reasonable price!

We knew we were gonna need a place to stay because my father in law had passed away. Not the best time but this motel in a very small town was awesome! Super clean and always treat us well! Stayed there last summer for the first time for a birthday in Allison. Thought it was then! In an emergency we called and they are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are great and the staff is very special. We had 6 of the 12 rooms and loved them! We will stay there a lot this summer! Thank you!

This is a small privately owned motel, and it looks as if the rooms have recently been redecorated. Room was fairly small and bathroom tiny, but it met our needs adequately. Very clean and quiet. The owner was great as we had trouble figuring out how to get the tv to work and he immediately came to help us with that. Later the power went out (must have been a breaker) and he responded to our call about that quickly. Our only complaint is that the bed sagged in the middle so didn't sleep as well as we would have liked.
