Emerald Acres Campground II

This is the worst campground I have ever been to my entire life! What they call the swimming area is nasty and covered with the green algae. My kids were NOT allowed to swim when we were there. The water in the bathrooms smelled like rotten eggs and clearly there is a water pressure issue. The place is dull nothing going on for campers like other campgrounds I have stayed at. The owners (2 women) were off Standish and borderline rude with don't bother me just give me your money attitude. Our family will NOT be coming back to this dumpy campground!

My family has been camping my whole life, and I’ve seen good and bad campgrounds. This was exceptional! ||||Our tent site had an amazing view of their stocked fishing pond and was the most spacious I’ve ever had. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, and never ceased to amaze us with how they treated us like part of the family. They even took our kids for a tractor ride, and gave us some worms for fishing after hearing that my daughter was having a hard time catching one with her plastic bait. I’m happy to report that thanks to their generosity, she caught her first catfish!||||Our family also enjoyed their swimming lake and sandy beach, ample playgrounds, wooded trails, and beautiful starlit skies. We were sad to go before their annual luau, and did not have an opportunity to try th

People I spoke with were great. Very laid back. Easy to work with. Do wish there was power for the tent site.

I've been down on my luck, found this campground by searching campgrounds near me as I just wanted somewhere to feel safe for the night, I didn't have a tent all I had was my car and cats, the owner real kind lady loaned me one of her tents to use for the night and had her workers or family I'm assuming more family set this tent up for me and gave me a safe place to sleep. Anyone who wants a great camping experience come here! The hospitality is more than what is asked for! Such a sweet woman I had the pleasure of meeting. God bless them all there!! Thank you

Great place to take the family. Campsites are big enough to have your camper and a couple of tents. Plenty of spots with full shade, partial shade or sun depending on your preference. Very clean and well kept. We didn't eat at the restaurant but our friends did and said the food was amazing. It's nice to have that option just in case! My husband and son caught many fish including 3 good sized large mouth bass and countless bluegill. Swimming pond is a decent size but unfortunately due to COVID it was closed. Permanent campers were very friendly and invited my husband and his friend to a bags challenge. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
