Customer Reviews
We spent $130.20 (debit card) for one night’s stay on a Thursday in early August. The service was friendly and prompt. The motel is removed from the road, so there is not a ton of noise pollution. The 2-star motel room is nothing more than promised: a bed and a roof. The shower curtain was covered in red mold, and there were at least 3 large ants in the fridge, juicy when squished (extra gross). The room had a musty odor which was remedied by opening windows and turning on the air conditioner. The bed sheets were crisp and clean. It’s right next to the Northern Rail Trail, which is an ideal location if you’re staying overnight on a bike trip (what we did). The floor is carpeted; wear flip flops if you’re wary of going barefoot on dark carpeted floors. There is also a 20-inch TV, a microwav
For an older motel this place was very comfortable and clean. The room was pretty muggy and musky when we got there, but it was charming and I loved the vintage bed spread. We had a little bit of difficulty checking in because I had my service dog and the staff were not familiar with service dog policies/ada. It all worked out though and we enjoyed ourselves. Sorry, this is the only photo I have from inside, but it shows the bed spread!
Well, it is a bit pricey for an older motel (90 bucks in the off season). But, I liked my stay, and will stay again. I found the staff friendly, the room clean, the bathroom was pretty big, the bed good, TV and Wifi were good, too. The room was heated with a 120 volt oil-filled space heater...but, the heater did a great job with outside temps in the 40s. The rail-trail is a block away and a good pizza place is just across the street. No breakfast or coffee.
Was filled with black mold, bugs, and bed bugs. Was musty and looked as if the sheets and comforters hadn’t ever been washed. Owner was rude and short with us. 100% is not worth the price for what the rooms are. Woke up all sick from the mold and found bed bugs in our shoes and clothes. Do not recommend
The room was decent, could have more attention to detail as in don't make it look like the curtains are almost falling off the wall, the updated electrical in the room was definitely appreciated. We get very concerned in some motel rooms when it looks like we would have a fire if we tried to plug something in, this place definitely put the effort into it upgrading that. My biggest issue with the motel is the price point... No way this room is worth $127, maybe $55... The owner's son was very polite and friendly on the phone, the owner is a little rough around the edges. Do not assume that the Cumberland farms will be open after 7:00 p.m. or on weekends, you may have to drive for something to eat.
