Elmhurst Hotel

"Exceeded my expectations! I stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was spotless, with a comfy bed and a sparkling clean shower. Its prime location near the 82nd Street Roosevelt subway stop made exploring the city a breeze. We made it to Times Square in just 30 minutes. The neighborhood is a foodie's delight, with amazing Mexican, Asian, Indian, and Nepali restaurants within walking distance. Plus, a McDonald's is just a block away for those quick cravings. I'm already planning my next stay - highly recommend!"

Room is just ok, spacious and the view was nice. |The bathroom has a bathtub with curtains and a shower, however, if you want to take a shower there’s no body wash/ shampoo or any other dispenser in the shower, they are fixed on the bathtub wall and cannot be removed. We weren’t able to use the shower in the bathtub. |There’s a strong smell of cigarettes in the lobby even tho there’s a sign that says “no smoking”. The hotel is located in the middle of a Latino aera, very crowded and noisy. ||If you’re a light sleeper it’s gonna be a nightmare as you’re gonna hear the train passing all night long. ||If you’re a tourist and you’ll be visiting Manhattan and the most famous areas, it’s gonna take about 40 minutes train ride to get there, so be ready and know it’s not around the corner. ||I won

Worst hotel in terms of quality and cleanliness! I think all the good reviews were written by them or their staff . The bathroom door was broken, the room was dirty, and it was much smaller than advertised. I even had to call many times and beg for one essential amenity.The receptionist keep lying that they are sending.

Lied about being able to accommodate early check in to get me to book. Then they tried to tack on an extra $50 fee. Then they didn’t issue a refund after they realized they couldn’t accommodate me. You’d be better off sleeping in your car than trying to deal with them.

The room was good but not perfect. Nonetheless we had an amazing view from 6th floor and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is very well located close to many public transport options. We loved our stay and would come back one day. Thanks.
