Elkhart RV Resort

Please be careful when selecting a site. We were given a site far too small for our 5th wheel. We were given instructions from the office on how to make it fit and ended up with damage. We have been ignored when we attempt to get answers to get this resolved. The manager is “nice” but just tells me what I want to hear and that she will talk to someone else. We are so frustrated and will never stay there again. After posting the first time someone responded apologetically with contact info. I used that info and have still been ignored. The thousands of dollars we had in damage were apparently supposed to be resolved by the free pizza they offered us while we were there. I am so disappointed by the customer service of this campground. Accidents happen but to be a coward and not take owners

Long term stay for work. The staff is awesome, the campground was awesome in my opinion. Every site has a firepit and a picnic table electric, water, sewer hookup.

The building with the pool table, air hockey, fussball, etc. was fun but needed cleaned. There were a ton of books - kid and adult - for exchanging. Again, a great feature, but the shelves needed attention! |We would have liked a grassy area or a concrete slab by our RV just to have less dirt and dust to deal with.

Nice clean RV park. Pull through site a little small in length for both the TV and RV, so unhooking for the night was necessary. Very tight on roads that were narrow and turns tight with dumpsters, etc. a little too close for comfort. Some campers did not keep their TV from parking partially in the street, making it even more challenging. Other than check in and check out, didn’t see any staff patrolling the camp ground to address such issues. We have a 30 ft rig and long bed truck.

Very disappointed, with this campground, not sure how they refer to it as a resort! Only positive, close to highway, friendly staff, heard a train a few times, which we enjoyed, ordered Hunts pizza and wingbites from campground office, very good! Mostly seasonal and fulltime campers, very trashy sites, looks like no restrictions. Pool was closed for remodel, not a big deal for us. Did not see any other overnight campers, when we drove in, lots of campers looking at us, like we didn’t belong, unmaintained campground, we picked up trash and garbage when we got to our site. Would not stay again!
