Elk River Lodge & General Store

This place is great!!! The General Store has become a Mandatory must stop on the way to the cabin... the kids Love the huckleberry ice cream and Bailey, both are very sweet! This store is a Gem.

Was in town for a night on business- Upon arrival I had to try one of their Huckleberry Shakes! It was so good! I went up to my room and was greeted by a comfy bed and a nice ac unit. My unit had a shared bathroom which I didn't mind at all. There were separate bathrooms for males and females. There was also a full size fridge and a comfy couch and tv in the lounge. This is a great comfortable place to stay!

This place has some of the BEST huckleberry ice cream I’ve had

Got the wonderful creation pictured here. It was huckleberry softserve ice cream with a narrow slice of huckleberry pie shoved down the middle, topped with huckleberry sauce and whipped cream. It cost about $9. The ice cream was especially smooth. Flavors were all great. The pie had more of a cookie crust than a traditional flaky crust.

My daughter and I stayed one night in August. The stay was very pleasant! The bathroom was very clean! The bedding and towel smelled so good! And the people are very friendly! The owner makes the best huckleberry pie I've ever had and the soft huckleberry ice cream is too die for. Thank you so much!
