Eleven B&N at 11 Wharf Road

Pizza, salad and wine were great. Loved the olives too as soon as you sit down. Unfortunately the service (as others have written) is terrible. I guess it depends on the waitress. The table next to us was visited by their waitress a dozen times and they were asked how they are and where they’re from etc. Our waitress never came to our table again after taking the order. Never refilled our water, never asked how we were. Nothing. I had to walk in the restaurant myself and order another glass of wine. At the end we received a bill with 20% gratuity automatically added for absolutely no service whatsoever. This is seriously shocking. The atmosphere out front is lovely and I would come back again for the food and wine but they need to get their S together.

I booked a stay at the AirBnb here in May and was unable to make my stay last minute due to the hospitalization of my traveling companion after an accident on the drive up. I was pretty disappointed with the response I got from the folks at Eleven. Given their cancellation policies, we didn't try to ask for a refund - we just asked that they send us a note on AirBnb saying they couldn't refund us so we could get money back from my credit card company. After several email messages with no response, I called and was cut off on the phone - one of the women who owns the place told me she was "very busy running a restaurant" and didn't have time to discuss this matter with me. 12 emails and several dismissive phone calls later, I still have not gotten the message on AirBnb or email. The restaurant here is a hidden gem within the Northern California food-scene. Local, farm-fresh vegetables showcased in wonderfully crisp and refreshing salads. Sourdough crust pizza, the best treat after hiking/camping in nearby Point Reyes. The meatballs, near heaven. An excellent selection of California and rare-find European wines. The Georgian orange wine, a treat. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable serving staff and sommelier.

We ate here last night after hiking nearby. We absolutely loved the entire dining experience. The food we great, reasonably priced, and well presented. The service was perfect. The ambiance and lighting was so romantic and quaint while still being very modern. I live in SF but I can't wait to come back! I want to bring all my friends.

The walls are full of holes, scuffs, chipped paint. The towels are thin. The biggest issue, however, is that the listing fails to tell you that the restaurant below these rooms (which is run by the hosts) becomes a club for locals at about 8:45pm at night. ||||We ate dinner at the restaurant around 6pm. The food was okay. The waitress was rude. There was no music playing.
