Very nice campground close to everything. Limited spaces for smaller RVs. Loved the trails. Will definitely be coming back.

Mountain biking, hiking, climbing, bouldering- this place has a little bit of everything. Such an incredible playground and FREE. So close to downtown BV, so groceries are never too far away

Scenic free FCFS camping spot. ~12 sites, we managed to snag the last one on a Friday afternoon for a holiday weekend around 2pm. Must be popular, as cars drove through the loop pretty often looking for an opening. Day use parking that people seem to use to van/car camp. There was a CPW staff here when we arrived but never saw anyone come back, so seems only lightly monitored. Not much shade and no real privacy from other sites. Right on the river, lots of good fishing spots. Looks like it’s also popular among rafters and kayakers Free, no water. Porta potties. Fire rings, no picnic tables.

Small place with a cool drive to get here. Maybe a Dozen sites here. We got one bye the wood fence with a really nice view. Well worth the price of FREE! All n all we felt safe. Nice quiet, and enjoyable evening. Ok, during sunset this place is unbelievable. The view is amazing and everyone is quiet and respectful.

Twelve spaces only. Does have overflow or day parking. Access to the Arkansas River. Nice hiking trails close by and a hard-packed dirt road for biking. People were very considerate and nice with the exception of some Yahoos who partied late into the night; hooted, hollered, swore and deposited vomit on the porta-potty floor.
