Element New York Times Square West

Booked this hotel through virgin Atlantic holidays for a good price. I liked the fact they don’t charge a $40 tax per night for ‘resort fees’ like a lot of others do. Unfortunately that is pretty much where the positives end. The rooms are very dated and not looked after - there are dents, marks, dust etc everywhere and I don’t feel that the room had been cleaned particularly well. I paid extra for a studio room which was pretty small and that had just a very long wide hallway with no mirror/ hooks or anything which seemed quite pointless. My experience unfortunately mirrored pretty much every negative review I had read after booking - the lifts (elevators) and shower were an absolute pain for my whole stay. We tried to use the elevators at non peak times and still had to wait 15 minutes +

The staff is wonderful and the hotel was clean and safe. It was walking distance from Times Square and the subway. I went to see the ball Drop last night for New Year’s Eve. The hotel was safe and clean. The breakfast was good and fresh. There was a happy hour that had beer and wine, the room had a fridge microwave and it had a dishwasher and they had Netflix so I can also watch Stranger Things. The staff was a wonderful , especially Dayanara!!! I was early, and I still was able to get checked into my room, which had a great view. I actually want to come back.

Excellent location 5 minutes walked to time square. Subway station and restaurants everywhere. Booked a room, including 2 people breakfast. BKT was convenient and okay. If you drive, make sure to park your car across the hotel that parking lot. Pay the hotel directly when you checked out to get a better price. Overall, it was a very good stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Element Times Square. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really makes a difference when you’re traveling. The hotel is in a perfect location, very convenient for exploring the city. The hotel is also very clean, and the rooms are spacious and extremely well equipped. Everything you might need during your stay is there, which makes it feel very comfortable. The breakfast is very good and complete, with plenty of options to start the day well. In the afternoon, they also offer complimentary snacks and drinks, which is a really nice touch after a long day in the city. A special mention goes to Joana, who was sweeping the lobby area and also serving beers in the afternoon. She was always cheerful, kind, and very helpful. Her attitude really made our

The layout of the room I had is comparable to most hotels I have stayed at. The plus is having a kitchenette. The reasoning for 3 stars for the room itself is literally the comfort of the bed. Absolutely horrid comfort. The only reason I slept was because of all the walking I did while in town. However every morning was met with an excessive amount of back pain. Other than the bed itself everything was no different than any other hotel Ive stayed at.
