Eldorado Motel

Very friendly staff, worked with us on our late check in and reservations. Very nice surprise, when we arrived at a little after midnight and management had left the key in our room and it smelled like bublicious bubble gum!! We stay a lot of places for work and none of them have smelled so welcoming and delicious 😁

For some reason, this motel did NOT initially show up on Tripadvisor (not sure why). This is the ONLY lodging in Loogootee. The owner seemed reasonably polite. The room was adequate. We did see some bug activity (spiders, flies, roaches, etc.). I was incredibly itchy at night, but I haven't found any bites, yet. My wife didn't complain of any itching.. The wi-fi signal is weak in the morning. The mattresses seem to be of memory foam (not exactly the most comfortable). And the bed frames were incredibly noisy . When we got home we checked our dog and found six fleas (she has never had fleas). We'll have to be vigilant about repeatedly checking her for more activity. The stay was reasonably comfortable, but I'm not sure we'd go back.

My stay at the eldorado motel has been very nice. The rooms are very clean they are very spacious. The office manager Lillie is very nice. The rooms are equipped with everything you need when staying in a motel. The bathroom is nice there is hot water. There is cable tv the rooms are well heated and cooled. The beds are ok not really into beds on wheels on the frames more of a stationary bedframe person myself but the beds are comfy and the sheets and pillows and pillow cases are very clean there are NO BED BUGS! The rates are very reasonable . The location is ideal for close by stores and restaurants. I will be staying here for an extended period of time and I'm going to be very happy here. So I would give this motel a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating overall and recommend it to anyone needing to stay

If you've seen the tv show "My Name is Earl" then you already know exactly the type of motel it is.||The people are very nice, there's a cool cat to pet and the lotion they provide smells nice.||The pillows are plastic and crinkle all night. The comforters are stained. The shower curtain wouldn't actually close, just hung uselessly in the middle, the microwave could have been cleaned a lot better and none of the clocks in the room were set so we had to figure out how to program an unfamiliar coffeepot and alarm clock.||||Don't forget to pet the kitty.
