El Western Cabins & Lodges

This is one of the greatest places to stay in “El Western” US. The location is so convenient, right off the highway, the ambiance right next to a beautiful spring creek and a gigantic and lush lawn welcomes you to the property. The rooms are retro to 70 years ago but are so clean, updated, and maintained to will be amazed. We had a minor issue and the staff taught a master class in customer service, making us much more satisfied and more likely to drive out of our way to return. They could teach customer service to 5 star properties around the world. If you are looking for a place to stay anywhere near Ennis, don’t look any further. Just book it and you’ll not regret it.

I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. The quality of commitment to the history, the cleanliness, and the wonderful location are unmatched. The young man who checked us in on August 25th was professional, kind and knowledgeable. We will be back!

El Western cabins are awesome Nostalgic vs vanilla motel America Clean rooms; quiet; immaculate grounds etc Chris is unbelievably helpful with reservations or anything else We are regulars - but 1st time review- so as a regular it should weigh heavily because we keep coming back! Was our 1st time watching parade - great family experience Jumped over to VC for a play and that was great too

We've been staying at the El Western since the early 80's. Spring, summer, fall and even the winter on different occasions over the many years. Each time we enjoy the lovely setting, clean cabins, proximity to Ennis and surrounding tourist locations. You always feel welcome and see the pride of ownership evident all around. The lush green lawns are awesome. We'll continue to return and look forward to many more nights in the cabins. Mark and Kathy California

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was comfortable and exceeded out expectations. We rented a cabin for a quick weekend getaway to relax and celebrate our wedding anniversary. When the management found out it was our anniversary they gave us a larger cabin with a king-sized bed. They went above and beyond what was expected to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
