El Governor RV Park

Nice RV park. Great facilities. Resort hotel is right across the street. Most of the sites are close together. The beach across the street was clean and not too crowded. However, it was February. Mexico Beach is a nice little beach town with decent amenities. And it is centrally located . About 45 minutes to Panama Beach.

First time here, this is really a good clean place! All the employees are friendly and helpful. LOVE it being right on the beach. I have always gone to Gulf Shores thought I would try something different and glad I did! Just hate i waited to be 70 years to find this place. But will be back only here from the 15/18 have enjoyed my room. You can't help mother nature we just have to put up with the black bugs.

Wonderful area! Direct beach access with all rooms overlooking the Gulf. Fun vibe! Pool and bar. Great location with quick access to Port St Joe and Cape San Blas. Great sunset views! King rooms are ADA and close to elevators. Kitchen area with full size fridge and oven. No couch or cozy chair, only a small table and 2 resin chairs. Laundry on site, although we didn't use it. Didn't see any grills at the hotel, however I believe the RV park across the street has some for charcoal grilling.

Stayed in the RV park for the month of Nov 2025. Great place, great employees, very clean bathrooms and laundry room. Even though a tornado tried to wipe me out the morning after I arrived, this was a favorite. Thank you to all of the wonderful employees.

The motel has been rebuilt since Hurricane Michael and some aspects of the rebuild are very nice (such as the bathroom and kitchen areas, plus the deck is great) but there are a few things that would have made a difference. 1. Our room only had over the bed lighting, no side-bed lamps which was annoying for those who wanted to sleep without glaring lighting in their eyes. 2. Bed was super comfy but the only other furniture in the room was two cheap plastic chairs and a plastic table. Not one single comfy place to sit and read or surf the net. Sitting on the bed for these things was tiresome and bad for the back. 3. A few washable throw rugs/door mats would help keep the sand out of the bed/shower. We ended up using the shower mat for this. 4. The pool is smaller than it looks an
