Clean and well maintained campground. The toilet and shower facilities were well lit and clean and it’s pretty close to town! Unfortunately, this is a fairly loud campground due to the proximity to the highway. We required earplugs to be able to sleep the night in a tent, so just be aware.

El Chorro Regional Campground, August 2, to August 4, 2024 My daughter & me came late Friday night about 10:30 pm & her friend's was here already & helped us set up her new 🚌 RV it was our very first time using all the hook ups so it was so awesome! The campground itself is so beautiful & if you don't have a 🚌 RV or Camper you can just bring a tent or tents ⛺ & you can use the restroom with showers 🚿 25 cent & there a burn pits/barbeque by each camp site so it makes it so much easier to have a BBQ or a fire 🔥! My daughter's friends brought their E Bikes 🚲🚲 & she tried one & ❤️ it so she wants one now. There are a full hookups area & a none hookup area & a day camp area also & a dog park plus baseball ⚾ diamonds & there is a San Luis Obispo, Botanical Garden in the Day Camping area it is s

A great place to camp, the restrooms are nice and clean. The showers take quarters. The campsites are big and separated with trees and bushes.

Just stayed here for the first time. The campground itself is pretty nice, the grounds are well kept, the restrooms are clean, great location. There was a lot to like about it however unfortunately the cons quickly outweighed the pros. The first con is part of the location, it is extremely windy. Obviously not something that can be helped other than maybe if they planted more tall trees to try to protect the campground, regardless be warned the evenings and nights can become extremely windy to the point being outside is not enjoyable. Not a deal breaker but good to be prepared. Another con, which is just downright weird is there are hookup sites with the hook ups on the WRONG side of the campsite. We were the unlucky ones to get such a site. Thankfully we had an extra sewage hose and an
