The bed and breakfast was wonderful, and Steve and Ellen were the kindest and most gracious hosts imaginable. I and my family loved our visit here.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, and found it to be an absolute wonderful experience. The history behind the store came alive as the host, Steve and Ellen, explained its rich family history. They have beautifully restored it to a warm, peaceful, atmosphere that combines the past with modern amenities. As for their breakfasts, they strive to prepare fresh and locally grown food that is absolutely amazing. They WILL feed you! They are delightful hosts who go above and beyond. You will soon see that this place is a labor of love. There is also a surprising amount of fun things to do within a short driving distance; historic churches, museums, wineries, and lots of things to do outdoor. The local folks are super friendly. This was an amazing getaway! From the hospitality of the hosts to the short break from constant motion, everything was wonderful. The breakfasts were homemade with pleasant conversation. A home away from home!

Wonderful place to go to get away from the big city noise. The best breakfast I've had at a bed and breakfast. Make sure you take time for the hot tub.
