Edgewood Motel

Stayed there last July for three nights with friends while fishing in the bay. Definitely will stay again this July. I gave it five stars mainly because it was well adequate for our fishing party. Although not a five ,four or even three star motel,it served our purpose. Granted it's not luxurious but when fishing all day who cares. My only complaint is I wish they had coffee in the morning available. Also next door great tackle and bait shop....

I pulled over here on my way to Virginia beach. I was falling asleep at the wheel and had to choice. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! I wish I would of stayed in my car! It's so run down! You can feel the springs in the bed, the bathroom was extremely small, and no heat!!! I froze all night! Left my layers of clothes on! It was horrible. At 65$ a night it was extremely expensive for what the condition was. Save yourselves the misery and sleep at the next place or even in your car would be a hell of a lot better! I didn't get much sleep cause I was so cold and uncomfortable on that 40 year old bed!

Musty and old, overpriced. No fridge, no microwave, not allowed to have a cooler in the room, door sticks and doesn’t lock well. No outlets in bathroom, one outlet in the entire room. A/C unit was so old and the dial was broken off so you were either too hot or too cold.

Nothing fancy but great location, clean and friendly. Place to rinse the boat and clean fish.

Great people and clean rooms. Not fancy but if you need a place to shower and bed, it's perfect!
