Customer Reviews
Loved this place! Very clean room and bathroom. Great reservation and check-in process. Definitely recommend. Great job to the owners and caretakers!!!
Clean and affordable. What more could you want?! Let's see...the room was quite spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy. Very quiet. There is a liquor store right next door and another review said a bar/grill just a five minute walk (I didn't go so I can't say from personal experience). The check-in and out processes were SUPER easy. But I will say this....READ THE DIRECTIONS GIVEN TO YOU AT YOUR COMFIRMATION EMAIL OR TEXT. Don't be like me. I wasn't one of those people who read the whole thing and had to call the lady when I arrived only to have her tell me to read my email/text message (she was very polite and helpful BTW and said it happens all the time). You do everything electronically. It was, honestly, pretty neat. Definitely will be back if I'm ever passing through again.
This place was great base for a weekend trip! From the remote/kiosk check-in to the SUPER CLEAN accommodations, the Eden Valley Motel is old school done well! Nothing fancy, but attention to detail takes care of the basics in a larger-than-average room. The sound from adjacent rooms is muffled, but there is little to no traffic on the 55 between 9 pm and 6 am so that you can sleep. If you're traveling with a pet and are looking for a quiet, safe, and clean place to stop in western MN, this is the place!
Terrible location, right by train tracks, trains run on time because they woke me up at 11:30 and 2:30 at night. Comfy rooms aleast. Middle of nowhere and check in kiosk is an awkward tablet. Most food is 17 minutes away, so if you want to eat in town about two bar/restaurants or a gas station. Right next to a liquor store. Also can hear everything going on out your door leading into the lot, and one side is facing outside to a highway. All this would be fine if rooms were cheaper.
Love the cleanliness of rooms and the location works our great for us everytime! Train going through sure wakes you up tho!!
