Economy Inn

I was in room 143. I stayed here for orientation for a new job. Staff are friendly. Bed is perfect for my liking. Not to soft or to firm for me. Slept like a BABY. Only downfall I saw which is extremely minor to me, is they dont have any soaps or bath products in the room. I have to many skin allergies so I bring my own regardless. There is laundry on site if you need to wash clothes. $1.50 each which is really cheap. There is no breakfast but they do have a nice selection of food here in town. There is also a Walmart on the other side of town. This is one of the best hotels I've been in within the last 5yrs. As a trucker we end up in hotels a lot more than we would like.

We've been staying here for the last year and we have watched these rooms improve greatly. New one cup Coffee pots , blow dryers, furniture, bedspreads and linens no shampoo or lotion , but we carry our own anyway. The rooms are freshley painted and new carpet we 've been extremely happy with the service .They do not speak fluent english but they'll help you any way they can. I was short some hand towels, she got them immediately. We would not mind staying here for a week. No breakfast though not unusual .Frig and microve so you can carry you own.The air and heat have worked well in our room each time very reasonable rates.The beds were comfortable also. Single story you dont have to worry about stairs. Has laundry also. Never been there when the pool was open we always go in fall and win

I’m a truck driver and just finished a long day and was in dire need of a motel, I drive a day cab, no sleeper. Unfortunately, though the gas station next to the motel had diesel and was more than happy to take money for drivers, they won’t let us park there. I had to park at a real truck stop, buy some things I needed there and walk a mile and a half here. Worth it. The man that checked me in was very friendly and helpful, my room was nice for the price, clean and had everything thing I needed. If you find yourself in need of a motel in Ashdown, I would absolutely recommend this place.

The price was reasonable and my stay experience was excellent. I think for anyone like me that needs a good night. Sleep in a nice clean room. This is the answer in that location.

After reading mixed reviews, we debated driving on to Texarkana, but decided to check this place out first and were glad we did. We asked to see our room first and smiling Amy at the front desk was very nice about letting us take a look. Not white-glove clean but entirely adequate. Fridge/micro & flat screen TV. Free wifi w/decent signal and I was able to check weather & routing for the rest of our trip. Room was a little stuffy but A/C cranked & quickly cooled down. Hand towels were delivered to our door upon request. Appreciated being able to park right in front of our room, making it so much easier to transfer luggage, laptops, cooler, etc. in & out. Outdoor pool was in disrepair but we weren't on vacation, just passing through. Train tracks right across the street were blaring
