Customer Reviews
The floor was dirty, I could tell it had not been vacuumed, damaged walls, one lamp near been was damaged with no lamp shade, TV remote did not work, no extra roll of toilet paper & dirty bedspread. No continental breakfast available due to renovation in that area I was told that morning...I should have been told during checking. Clerk at checking was rude when I told her I was very displeased with my room. This is my last time ever staying at this chain.
Welllll for the price you get what you paid for. I don’t even know where start. Bed: Very firm if you like a firm bed Pillows were 12/10 Sheets… not white had stains and holes. Just plain sheets no blanket. Floor: The carpet was dirty, could use a wash or replacement. Microwave: Worked but not handle, just missing… Fridge: Mini fridge was good. Restroom area: Ummm if you like boiling like a crab this is the place to go, there was nooo I mean no cold water. Even if you let the water run for a while it seems like the water got hotter… Walls were patched up but not painted over … The towels… I swear they are like decades old because those things were thin as a tissue.only give you two The ironing board needs to just be thrown out… the stench and stains … oh and that iron to … jus
Originally booked a reservation at a Member Rate of $45 per night for 3 nights on the Choice Hotels website. Upon check-in, I was advised that there is an additional upcharge of $10 per night, $30 for the entire stay, for a non-smoking room. In addition to this $30 non-smoking upgrade charge, I was also advised that there is a $50, undisclosed via the website, deposit. What was originally $158.31 for the entire stay suddenly became $238.31. $80 in hidden and unecessary fees is a substantial amount, especially for the market and customer base that Econo Lodge is attempting to win. I have never encountered a "non-smoking upgrade" fee at any property owned by any brand, and considering I was a flight attendant and currently work as a corporate travel consultant, I have atleast 1,000 room nigh
When we opened the door and walked in, the horrible odor nearly knocked us down - like super strong cat urine. It was burning my throat. So, I went to talk to manager, and he gave us a different room. It wasn't much better. The sheets were ripped, the bed covers were dirty, old gum stuck on the floor, mold in the bathroom, and urine on the base of the toilet. Then - the toilet ran over. Everytime we used the toilet we had to plunge it to prevent it from running over. This place was so so nasty. Oh, and that smell at the first room? That was the smell of black mold. The carpet was a pool of bacteria and black mold. || Evidently, no one cleans these rooms. In the coffee pot was a pod that had been there for awhile because it had mold on it. The coffee pot was also broken. No surpr
