Econo Lodge Saint Stephen

I got a room here for two nights. The rooms are nice, and the location is great for me as it was for my family coming in for the holiday. My complaint here is about the pet policy. As some motels have policies About Pets, they're usually stated. This location charges $20 a night for pets depending on breed. My family's pet was a small Pomeranian that they had to pay $20 a night for. It will be easier next time for me to just check into Moncks Corner as it is cheaper and they have a free pet policy. So I certainly recommend everybody else do the same. $40 for two nights is just extreme. That cuts majorly into the budget. Because you are unaware. So in other words, do not book with this Motel unless you've read every detail of the fine print. Don't just look this up online, and reserve it wi

It's always a great stay at Econo lodge. The front desk receptionists were very respectful and helpful. The rooms were very clean the wifi was great.

Booked over phone with "TITA" desk rep for Econo Lodge. Location was great for the main purpose of fishing; the CAT's (Blues & Channels) are BIG Here! Booked for 2 weeks and had great time. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were well maintained with clean floors, shower, sink with counter, large flat screen TV. Loved room key card entry system. Key Cards are individual coded to rooms but, also neutral to open building entry/exit doors at any time you want to go venture out. The train runs approx. @ 10:00 p.m. and sometimes later at night. The walls baffle down most of the train noise but the whistle is loud. There is coffee provided each morning. The beds are very thick, soft, with very soft pillows. Pool is more of a wade pool (closed thru Winter/ Early Spring). Some minimal maint

I have stayed here 3 times while working in the area. Rooms were clean, AC worked, shower had great water pressure, ice machine works, TV was adequate. Breakfast is coffee, Tang, and toast, cereal or oatmeal. Staff is friendly.

Two family members had COVID at home, so we stayed at econo lodge until it was over. The new owners are very nice,friendly and accommodating .Along with all staff that we met. Very nice. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. I walk due to spinal,lung and other health issues. So I would do laps around the outside as the pool wasn't open..I felt comfortable doing this even alone..It feels safe,quiet. It's pet friendly,but doesn't smell like pets in any rooms we had stayed in. Always a clean smell walking in. You can tell the staff do their job. Comfortable beds,pillows ect. They now have breakfast, along w some upgrades they are doing on the inside. We really liked the prior owners,but also like the new one's.They are doing a good job there and we hope the hotel does fabulous for them
