Econo Lodge Purcell

Felt safe. Close to i-30 . No noise. Well lit. Guy on staff young gentleman. Was very informative. Told him my situation helped me out. They do offer veterans rates. Veteran Friendly. Has a gas station connected to motel. Perfect for all in ONE PITSTOP. Fuel up and snack up. Rooms are Clean . May look a little rundown from outside. But has the same accomodations as expensive hotel. Breakfast was offered in the morning simple. Waffles and 4or 5 assortment of cereal. Whole milk and coffee. Only thing would be small bathrooms but for the price and last minute worked out perfect!!

The people were very nice. The room was sufficiently clean, there was a bag of ice left in the freezer. The main draw back was the TV. No matter what we tried there was only one channel and the volume on the remote control did not work.

Poor breakfast selection. Coffee was horrible. Hair dryer smelled like it was about to burn out. Floor in room was filthy. Smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Water stains on ceiling. Parking is very limited for the number of rooms in the hotel.

Positive: Large room and also it’s convenient and no noise all night Negative: The floor was not clean , too many house fly 🪰 and smell smoke

Room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. It was advertised as nonsmoking but that was definitely not the case. There are ways to remove the odor of smoke and I think that should be looked into
