Econo Lodge Milldale - Southington

I had an excellent stay at the Econo Lodge Milldale – Southington. The staff was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. My room was spotless, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The location is super convenient, right off the highway, and close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Parking was easy and stress-free. For the price, the value is unbeatable—you really get a clean, comfortable, and reliable stay without breaking the budget. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area or staying in Southington. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Worst experience ever. I booked a king size bed in a non-smoking room weeks in advance for thanksgiving. It was me, my wife, and my 1.5 year old baby. We arrived that night, checked in, and got our key. When we got to the room it REEEKED of cigarettes. Moreover the bed was small. I went back to the counter and told them they gave me the wrong room. The front desk lady said my room was given away and that they are all booked so this is the only room they have. My son woke up with a a bloody nose and I woke up feeling nauseous. The next morning I went back to the front desk asking for a full refund and all they would offer was a small 15% discount (but only after charging me extra for having a small dog). Not to mention, I had to wash all my stuff once I got home because the cigarette smel

Awful. I booked a kingside non-smoking room for my wife, baby, and myself for thanksgiving night. I booked it weeks in advance. Then I arrive and was given my key. When we got to the room it reeked of cigarettes and the bed was small. I immediately went to the front desk to let them know they gave me the wrong room. I was told they gave my room to someone else and are all booked for the night so couldn't switch. But they they had a Jacuzzi room if I wanted to pay more. I didn't feel right paying more after getting screwed over so stayed. The next morning I woke up nauseous, my baby had a bloody nose, and all my clothes smelled of cigarettes. Every thing was very clean. The handicapped shower was very good. Sunny at the desk was very helpful and very friendly The woman who cleans was very friendly and helpful opening doors for us and welcoming us. Having a refrig and microwave oven was helpful. we appreciated the handy supply of ice cubes. Room price was very reasonable.
