Econo Lodge Live Oak One night, 11/17/2025, US$69.00. Room 203. We just needed a clean room with decent beds to spend one night on a trip. The negative points wouldn't stop me from staying at this hotel again, depending on the price. Old building, needing some aesthetic maintenance, except for the reception area which seems to have been recently renovated. Toilet and bathtub were stained (the kind of dirt that only comes off with special products and a lot of scrubbing). Bathroom door had scratches and peeling paint. The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. Ample uncovered parking. Air conditioning working perfectly!! Clean room (despite the encrusted dirt in the sink and bathtub). Great location & friendly staff, but the room needs updating. It was clean enough and the front desk was ok, but the furniture was worn; fine for a short, budget stay if location is key.

Dirty floors, dirty bathtub, old washcloth still on shower curtain. Housekeeping doesn't clean rooms good st all burnt holes in blankets sheets and top blankets were dirty, staff is wonderful there but for cleaning there not.

We were on the road for12 hours and just looking for a cheap place to sleep and them back on the road by 7 AM. We checked in and the lady was very nice. We asked where we should eat and she told us a place. It was good and we got back to our room around 8:00. Ready to settle down and rest. We pulled the sheets back and there was some black hair on them and they looked like they were not changed. My wife looked at my white socks and they were black on the bottoms. I took a white cloth and wiped an area of a foot on the floor and it was black. We took it to the front desk and showed her. She said they were having problems with the cleaning people. Asked us if we wanted a different room and we said yes and asked if we could look at it first. We did and it was just as bad. She asked if we want

The room wasn't all that bad, but the breakfast area had several problems. The juice dispenser was out of order. Since there was nothing else to drink, I tried to make a cup of hot tea. The hot water dispenser was also out of order. There was cereal but no individual milk cartons. The milk was served from a single gallon milk jug, which is very unsanitary. Also, there was a what looked like a cranberry juice jug as well, for pouring your own juice, also unsanitary. And last but not least, the breakfast area was extremely poorly lit. This may have been OK for later patrons when it was daylight, but for early morning risers, etc., it made using the area difficult.
