Econo Lodge Kearney - Liberty

I booked a room here a few days ago in the Choice Hotels app. I was supposed to be a smoking room with two beds. When I arrived to check in, I was told they didn't have any smoking rooms left, only non-smoking. Then they have the nerve to charge alme a $50 deposit at check-in...which i've never had to pay a deposit whem I stayed there in the past. i checked my banking app a little while ago to see how much I had left in my account, and noticed they charged me $112 for one night on top of the deposit! Needless to say, I will be contacting corporate about this. Now I have to fight with them to get my money back. DO NOT STAY HERE!

They allow dogs and I love that. They have a few smoking rooms. Awesome. Not a fancy place but good price and clean rooms. Nice people.

I'm leave a 1 star review because this is the worst bed we have laid on known to mankind. It was hard lump and uneven. At first we thought they have flipped the mattress upside down bc how it was. But no. It's just that bad. There's even a thin bed topper and didn't do anything. I read the reviews and people said it was comfortable. So idk if it was just our room(113) but if you like the feeling on laying on a pile of rocks, have at it. Change the mattress and it wouldnt be a bad place. It's little ran down but it's clean and place to sleep for a good price.

Didn't get the room I paid for. Said that the sheets were black the night prior which is a lie I went took shower and went to sleep so no way it was black I paid for a king size bed and they gave me 2 queens and the sink was clogged and no wash rags and the lights didn't work we had to walk in dark to find a lamp one didn't have light bulb and the other worked when it wanted

The room was very nice, clean and nice accommodations - fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The bed was really comfortable! The headboard was very tall and not attached to the bed frame so it wobbled if we even sat on the bed so I put a bath towel behind it which solved the bouncing off the wall issue. Also a board with screws sticking out fell off something under the headboard which may have been the problem. DISCLAIMER: we are in our 70's so no gymnastics were involved! Possibly was a previous guest!! I would recommend this hotel!
