Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kalispell - Glacier National Park Gateway

Room was extremely cold and even after turning up the heater it made zero difference. I was looking forward to a hot shower or a bath but the water wasn’t warm enough to even finish a full shower. The blankets are extremely thin as well, adding to the overall “chilly “ experience. I will second what someone else said about the bathroom being loud. It’s unsettlingly loud. I’d rather go to the bathroom in the dark than turn the lights on. Overall I’d never stay here again.

I will give the positive things about the Econo Lodge in Kalispell. 1) Check in using my points was smooth and quick 2) The mattress on the beds were very good (I booked two rooms for us and our guests traveling with us). I had the best nights' sleep while I was traveling at this hotel over the other Choice hotels we stayed at. 3) Though the hotel was much older and with it, getting thread bare, it wasn't in bad shape. That is the reason I gave the score as high as I did. Now, I have some negatives to notify you of: 1) The one room had 2 queens beds. When we checked in, our king bed was made. In the queen bed room, one bed had been made up, but the other bed was either not made up or someone had laid down on it after it was made up. It was glaringly apparent that someone had laid on

The point is, we didn't go. We live 60 miles from Kalispell, MT and got caught in a snowstorm and I was sick. My family decided that after a long day and it being dark that it was safer to stay in town than to travel up a steep mountain. We booked a room at the Econo Lodge in town. We got there and I told the lady that I had booked a room through Super and that it was already paid for. She asked to see my driver's license. After 2 seconds of looking at it she said "Did they tell you that there will be a $200 dollar deposit?" She said this as if it was a challenge. To which I replied, "No. We stayed here a month ago and there wasn't a $200 deposit." She fires back "Well, there is." I go out to our car and recap with my husband. He goes in and questions if there is anything written about a $

We stayed there for a week 😊 service was great,! their breakfast is just cereal and muffins, and coffee is always hot! and the little coffee pots in the rooms;cute 🤣 Their laundry room was down 😞 so we couldn't wash clothes but that was okay 🤩

Was visiting from out of town, I stayed here last year and the staff was great! I wonder if management changed? The quality and service has REALLY gone down. While checking in, I was told my dog was too big and we wouldn’t be allowed to stay. I voiced my concern that it was a Friday night and likely difficult to find another room. The woman at the front with blue hair shrugged and said sorry. I told her I’d stayed there last year with no problems, and at the Livingston location just three days prior. She let me know I wouldn’t be charged but was pretty unhelpful. I called the CHOICE HOTELS number she gave me, and the customer service person said she could see the location history with the pet deposit, and agreed with me.
