Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Eagle Pass

We checked in at 12:40 a.m. the front desk clerk was an older Hispanic male. He was fumbling through paper computer screen he seemed very disorientated and confused. He wasn't familiar with the credit card machine and wanted me to scan my card a few times. When I asked him where the room was located he responded by saying look at the map on the wall. I wasn't sure how to read the map and he just kept saying well it's there in the map check. I went ahead and just said good night and went to look for my room I was in room 117 the odor in that room kicked me in the face as soon as I open the door. It smelled of feet but I was extremely exhausted from driving 8 hours so I decided to spray some body spray and leave one of the doors open for a little bit. After about 20 minutes I shut the door a

The good thing is that I was able To sleep. My body itched afterwards. The tub dripped all night. The tub was disgusting. We were not able to shower and the breakfast was awful. Towels look very old and dingy. The man from the office was not nice. He got upset for going through the lobby to go to our rooms. Is it not okay to walk through the lobby?

Worst stay ever. Customer service was below standards. Eddie the manager always is upset everytime I check in. Juan the maintenance guy I believe has no manners and disrespected a guest. Also one of the housekeepers that I believe also works the front desk is rude. She was yelling who it looked to be the owner and the other girl that was there. This hotel needs a whole remodel including changing the whole staff with trained perfessional customer service. But you get what you paid for.

Eddy and Christine at the front desk are so nice and accommodating. Our heat didn't work and the maintenance man came up immediately on a Sunday. Beds were comfy, shower was warm and ok, breakfast was mainly breads, cereal stuff but doable. I think it was fine for the price of the stay.

Overall was good property needs attention..phone is broken which is important INTERNET was down cellphone was down needed to call office luckily my phone regain internet access. Property very very dirty all around the buildings.
