Econo Lodge Falfurrias Hwy 281

The rate ($65 per night) was very reasonable so my expectations weren't very high considering the low rate. That being said, the room was adequate, but not great. There was a ring in the toilet which made it seem like the room I was assigned either hadn't been stayed in for a while and/or hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was also dirt in the tub that I cleaned off myself. Every light fixture in the room was really rusted. My main dissatisfaction was with the woman who was working the front desk during my stay. She was not friendly at all. No smile, no welcome to our hotel, no thank you, no you are welcome after I said thank you. She did not look like she wanted to be there. Not a great way to start off a 4 night stay in a hotel.

From the minute I checked in here, I have had a great stay!! Thanks Ankit for being an awesome GM. Bad Boy was welcome and Ankit was patient with us both. The rooms are clean, there's crushed ice and friendly folks! Thanks again I'll be said when it's time to go !! :)

Our room was immaculately clean and large. We arrived late and tired, and I fumbled around with the AC in the room. I called the desk, and immediately a most helpful young man arrived and pushed the correct button! We were grateful for that speedy attention. The breakfast was very good. We would happily stay there again. Excellent value for the price.

Good location. Room was clean. A/C worked great. Had some problems with Ch. 44. It was enjoyable!

I had some good sleep they had plenty of truck parking and the staff was really great thanks for the good hospitality.
