Econo Lodge Dewitt I-90

This was maybe the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at and I dont travel much. If all you need is a clean room, hot water and a bed they have you covered, no problem. I personally feel that when you stay at a hotel you are guaranteed a couple of things, their fresh coffee is not fresh, and it is not in the room you have to walk down to the front desk to get it and its from an instant machine, not a fresh brewer. Me and a friend stayed 2 nights, they never came and cleaned our room which means we never got fresh towels and there was only 2 towels to begin with, not even any wash cloths were provided. I went down to the front desk twice and no one was there. That also meant that we filled up our tiny garbage can in 1 night. The water pressure for the toilet was so low that you had to flush twice

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Do NOT stay here!!! When I checked in she took my license from me and made a copy of it. I've never had a place make a copy of it. When I stated that I was not comfortable with that, she claimed it was their policy. She continued to state that they need it because the police come in looking for people and it's a good way to identity who is staying there. The room I was put in had a flickering light overhead, broken screens, and a dirty bathtub. I didn't feel safe there, and listening to my gut. They also use a key for the rooms, so basically anyone could have access to the room. I went back to the front desk to share that I wouldn't be staying there. The place was creepy. She refused to give me the copy of my license, and I did not get a ref

Econo Lodge Dewitt I-90, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet my expectations. The room was basic, with outdated furnishings and a musty smell that lingered throughout. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom could use some cleaning, especially around the edges. The location is convenient if you're just passing through, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. The staff was polite, but overall, the hotel felt more like a budget option rather than a comfortable place to rest.

Gross hotel, lots of homeless outside. Whole area smelled strongly of weed. Noisy neighbors, dirty bed and sheets. Cheap, cheap pillows, toilets didn’t flush correctly. Bad parking. Random $100 charge for “deposit” even though I already paid for the room. Didn’t even stay the entire night. Drove an hour and a half home at 1 am rather than staying here. Would give this a negative if I could.
