Econo Lodge Cranston - Providence

Would NEVER come back again . My wife and i checked in to the hotel and went up to our room . As soon as we went in the room had a terrible moldy smell to it . Noticed right away the the peep hole to the room door to the outside had toilet paper stuck inside the hole . Didnt want to touch it or remove it looked outside and the reason why they put toilet paper in the hole is because the was no glass so if there wasnt any toilet ppaper it would have just been wide open for anyone to look inside and also let bugs get in ( soeaking about bugs , well get to that in a minute ) so still in the same room one of the lights did not work , the was what looks like blood stains all over the wall . The staff was very accommodating and efficient. I did witness 2 separate guests start arguments with the front desk over failures they experienced when booking with third party travel websites I had never even heard of. The rooms I stayed in were better than expected and a great value. I booked with the choice hotels website. The are has an absurd amount of flagship company stores for shopping within eyesight. Every brand name imaginable. The bed was comfortable. Refrigerator/separate freezer was larger than most hotels. Cool bathroom with large accessible shower and the bathroom door doesn't get in the way. A wide variety of lighting options ranging from reading to super nova sun. More tv channels than most hotels. Overall a great value

Very disappointing stay. The room is uncomfortable, smells bad, and feels damp. The bathroom is extremely small and outdated. Towels are dirty, toilet paper quality is very poor, and bed sheets and blankets are not changed—only rearranged. Front desk staff is rude and does not even greet guests. Room service knocks loudly very early in the morning and refuses to return later if you ask. Laundry service often does not work. I do not recommend this hotel.

this place is awful!! the owner is a liar. I was told multiple different reasons why we had to leave, first it was my dog supposedly barking at 230am which is a lie my wife's service dog barks when she is having a medical emergency but she didn't that night, second it was the supposedly the smell in my room what from the burgers I cooked that night I keep my room clean I sweep myself mop the floor wipe everything down with cleaning wipes so nope try again, third was supposedly me partaking in flower which I do in my car and I use it for pain so that's what I do and its legal in Rhode island, then they tried to tell me they had to refund rooms which is bull crap they were pretty much sold out most nights....SO BEWARE IF YOU STAY HERE...there is more but I'm done

The room was neat and clean. I liked the chair and table very much for the laptop. I also enjoyed the closet area to put the suitcase on a strong table and the big mirror was a good touch also. I did wish there would have been a box of tissues whete the holder was for it in the bathroom and a plug was not working.
