Echo Mountain Inn

I’ve stayed twice now and am just in love with this place. It’s so cozy and peaceful and the owners take great care to think of every sweet detail. There’s so many great places to sit in the common area, there’s nothing like starting your day with warm breakfast and Mountain View’s. It’s so quiet but really close to Hendersonville, which is such a cute town. Lots to do nearby, I love that jump off rock is a couple miles uphill. I work remotely and was able to do that just fine with the WiFi with no problems, always had phone signal as well, which can be sometimes be a problem in wnc. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. I even brought my teenage son for a trip and he and his friends enjoyed playing chess in the sunroom. I plan on coming back as often as possible

If you like historic properties, you will love Echo Mountain Inn. We were fortunate to spend a long weekend in mid-December and the innkeepers went all out decorating with multiple Christmas trees, wreaths, garland, Christmas villages, lights, etc. to make it cozy and festive. The mountain views are gorgeous. Breakfast was wonderful each day. Hendersonville is only a couple miles away with lots of great choices for dinner and fun places to shop. There are several easy hikes nearby if you want to get out in the fresh air but don’t want a super challenging hike. One unique feature that we haven’t experienced at other places we’ve stayed is all the different common rooms and smaller spaces located throughout the inn to sit and read or gather with friends. We always have a wonderful stay at Echo Mountain Inn. We always stay in a different room when we stay here. We stayed in the Plum Pretty room. It has a beautiful view of the mountains.which are spectacular, especially the morning sunrise with the fog hanging low on the mountains. The room was very comfortable, you can sit at the large window that has table and chairs, with a nice glass of wine or cup of coffee and not even think about the outside worlds problems, they just melt away. We recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding reception and accommodating all of our closest friends and family at Echo Mountain Inn, and the experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we first inquired to the second we checked out as a married couple, the staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and genuinely hospitable to our entire group. The fact that the Inn could house our wedding party, our guests, and us (the bride and groom) made the entire weekend feel seamless and intimate.
