East Wind Inn on the Water

What a wonderful time we had. Peaceful, quiet, lovely view. Easy to get to other areas of interest. The food was amazing, a well trained staff, and did I say peaceful and relaxing?? Thanks to Brian, Danielle, and staff for an incredible visit!! My husband said it best “it’s like being in a painted picture of a glorious place”

My wife and I on short notice were able to get a reservation at East Wind Inn before we visited Monhegan Island the following morning. What a treat! It happened to be the night of the Harvest Moon which we watched at the fire pit overlooking Tenants Harbor. Because the inn's restaurant was closed on Monday, we had a great local seafood meal at the Happy Clam. Walking distance. Our room was fantastic and we had a full breakfast before heading out to hike Monhegan. We look forward to our next trip

This was our first stay at the Inn and we enjoyed it very much. My husband’s parents had been there many times in years past so we decided to book a stay. The Inn was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable! It is located right on beautiful Tenants Harbor! It is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. The breakfasts were delicious with many choices! We didn’t get to try a diner as the Dining room was closed Sunday and we had plans elsewhere on Monday night when they offered a lobster diner. We will definitely come to stay here again when we visit this area of Maine!

Really a fine place with great and cheerful service and good breakfast. We also ate dinner and it was very good. Danielle, an owner was on hand and making certain all things were done well. ||The location and view are unbeatable. We jumped off to Monhegan boat the next morning but would have been happy to have stayed another night. If you go look at the collection of letters, newspaper articles etc in lobby.

Wonderful gem with fantastic views of Tenants Harbor. Great food too! We stayed in the Captain's House in the corner room with great views. The rooms are very small but tasteful. Below us on the first floor is a common area with a common refridgerator, coffee machine and so forth. It is a good 25 minutes south of Route 1 which keeps away most tourists. Port Clyde is just a short drive south.
