East Sullivan Campground

We went camping here the first time in 2023. Very beautiful area. Clean nice campground. Do not come here if you are looking for a small, quiet campground. It is not loud but lots of families. Even though there are lots of sites, they don't see crazy close, and people are nice and quiet after hours. The swimming area is perfect, and the lake is small so it gets warmer in the summer. There is a free state airport next to the camp ground. You do get some aircraft coming and going, and it's loud when they land/takeoff, but it doesn't last all the time. If you like aircraft, it's a cool grass strip with aircraft campsites. We will be going back every 4th. It does fill up so book early.

Great campground, nice camp hosts, but the vault toilets were in desperate need of being pumped/emptied. The stench from them was overwhelming when the sun hit the building just right.

Serene setting with mature forest. Plenty of room between sites and several vault toilets. If you love camping in the forest along a lake and don't need paved sites to feel comfortable this is a great place to get away from it all.

This is my happy place. My adult children agree. It's beautiful and the lake is exquisite. 100 stars if I could.

Love this place! Unfortunately this year (2019) water level is exceptionally low, but still a beautiful place.
