East Canyon Resort

We used the resort recently for our daughter’s wedding. The amenities were as advertised, nothing more or less. What was outstanding was the service of Special Events coordinator Allison and her staff. They were attentive, thoughtful and kind. Whenever a glitch turned up they immediately resolved. Our concerns were theirs and they truly wanted, and helped achieve the perfect wedding and memories. East Canyon is a lovely location, the Special Events staff made it perfect. Lesli M.

The location of the resort is excellent if you like fishing and water sports, as it is very close to a large reservoir. However, the unit we were assigned was absolutely filthy. Gunk in the showers and on the shower heads (we wiped them off easily, so obviously no one had bothered to even attempt to clean them), huge stains all over the carpet and everything just generally dirty. We joked that we were pretending to be camping out, as there was just about as much dirt in the unit as if we'd been outside. And they even charged us an $85 housekeeping fee!!! Ridiculous. The amenities (pool, hiking trails, pond) all have gates which require an entry code. That's fine if the staff will give you the code. We had our wedding at East Canyon Resort and I must say that Allison and her team are AMAZING! Super accommodating, communicative, and they rocked out our setup and the teardown. Our day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without their help. The views at the venue where we held our ceremony are amazing as well!

This place sucks. It use to be awesome! It just keeps going downhill though. The units are half clean, the staff doesn’t care about anything and blame it on higher ups. Would definitely not recommend. It seems enticing but you can either trust me or find out the hard way on your own. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else.

Unit was comfortably furnished with well-equipped kitchen. Location in mountain setting is beautiful but means you have to allow about 30 minutes to get to grocery stores and cell service is spotty.
