Eagle Village Resort

DO NOT BOOK THE VILLAS! I booked for my birthday for this weekend and when we arrived to check in, the entire place is abandoned. Phone number out of service, no one around to help us get settled in. We called the local police who told us Eagle Village resort has been shut down for a year only timeshare holders have the access to their homes. We had to look for somewhere else to stay for the weekend. This is ridiculous. Should not be up for bookings at all. They are just stealing money at this point because there is no point of contact for a refund. It is a shame because this was basically a yearly tradition for my family since 2016 and it has completely plummeted. Hopefully the booking site will be able to help with a refund.

I tried to make the best of the trip. We arrived late the night and it took us about 2 hours to clean and change the linen to our own. Their sheets were dusty and blankets had bleach spots. Broken stove and refrigerator. Had to toss out food. No reimbursement, no apology. Odor that came from the dirty water sitting in the dishwasher we never used. Leaking ceiling in the kitchen. Reviews mean nothing to them. I never received the call by management as promised. Instead she hid and avoided me by retreating to one of the offices when she saw me come in to check out.

Just got back to reality, If your looking for peace and quiet this is the place. It's a little outdated could use some repairs but we liked it . Staff was very cool quick check in and out . The place we stayed in was a 3 bdrm /kitchen, dining room, living rm 2 baths..small washer dryer. Relaxing weekend seen deer running by early in the morning and we were by the lake . They have a pool (NO lifeguard) games like pinball etc . pool table and outside they have a small section to BBQ. 4 grills total .Overall we enjoyed ourselves has an old rustic look and feel .Pitch black at night all you hear is the wildlife Would definitely return.....

I wish I can give Eagle Village Resort zero stars. I'm a owner and made arrangements to stay on property. I had two deaths in family within 4 days. I've been on property since 3/27/2024. Stephanie manager made arrangements were I was paying monthly. It was so much corruption going on , Owner terminated numerous employees. I haven't had electricity, heat, or water for numerous months causing extreme damage to my family physical, mental, emotional health. The new owners haven't complied with these horrible conditions. Who stay somewhere without water, to bathe and cooking etc. My food went bad in refigerstor and freezer. This unacceptable. I've been in compliance with the agreement with Stephanie, but new owner keep making excuses about the water etc. Please I need support from other own

I booked a 3 bedroom unit for our group of 8 adults. Check-in for Fridays apparently do not start till 7pm, but after 4 phone calls, I was able to confirm that our unit would "be available early." We checked in at 4pm on 2/3/2023, the parking lot was empty so we pulled our vehicle closest to the walkway because the temp was in the 20's and we were trying to unload quickly. Immediately, the office manager came out and SCREAMED across the parking lot that were were not allowed to park there. I explained that we were just unloading.||||Upon entering the unit, I noticed that the grate right in front of the door was loose and felt unsafe. In the middle of the dining area was a mouse trap and we saw droppings on the stove top. The carpet was stained and the microwave door handle was broken. All
