Eagle Inn

This place feels incredibly cozy and homey, with a peaceful atmosphere and prompt responses from the friendly people who run it. We're very happy here. Scott is a great guy.

My girlfriend and I stayed in one room for a week while attending a wedding in a near by town. ||Scott was super friendly and very helpful when we arrived. The room was perfect for our needs. WiFi, shower, towels, a table, air conditioning and two comfortable beds. ||The town has a few bars, and a nice family restaurant. People in the town are very friendly and we got to met many of the locals. ||Would stay there again if we go back to the same area! ||Thanks Scott!

Amazing Clean Room! Steeped in History! It felt very homelike. The Room we stayed in was the room that still has the original bank vault from the historical Bank that was once in the building! We enjoyed the quaint outside silo conversion pavilion, even though it was sprinkling rain!

We didn't stay. We had a reservation for 3 nights while visiting family. There are very few places to stay in this area. I realized the nightly cost was low and was hoping for just a clean place to stay. It had a musty smell which I could understand since it is a very old building. But what we couldn't get past was the bedding. I am not convinced that the sheets and pillow cases were clean. They didn't really look or smell clean. And the pillows were the about 1 inch thick. It takes pillows YEARS to get that flat. I am sure the pillows were 20 years old and had hundreds of heads sleeping on them. We left the key in the room and drove 25 miles to a Hilton Garden Inn.

Yes, great price and owner nice enough, but he wasn't there at check in so came knocking on our door at 8pm for his money, after our children were fast asleep. Bedding was stained and didn't appear to have been washed recently, it even smelled old. The bathroom floor had an old 'drip' still on it, the outer shower curtain had smudges on it. Looked like it's never washed. Inner shower curtain covered in water spots. The room had a musty smell and there are no windows to open for fresh air. Yes, it was relatively cheap at $50/night, and convenient, but I wouldn't stay there again.
