Duren Hotel

This property is a beautiful place to stay. It is quiet, clean, and a throwback to simpler times. You definitely forget most of what you need to do when you are there. The owners, Phil and Sherill, are wonderful hosts and make a conscious effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. This also is a venue to host weddings and family get-togethers. Call Phil, and he will hook you up!

It was beautiful only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because they didn’t clean the chairs waterslide or boats all of them were filled with huge spiders n bugs but other than that it’s a perfect place

Stayed at the “apartment” (sort of a barndominium) with dad and sons while deer hunting at a nearby property. It was nice to come back to a warm shower and comfortable bed at the end of a long, cold day. Great host.

This is a beautiful venue, with great history. It was a perfect place for a wedding. It was big enough to accommodate lots of family and friends.

Didn't stay overnight here, but i would keep in mind that the stairs are narrow and steep. They seem to keep everything well stocked with necessities. The outside had plenty of setups for photography opprotunities for any event. Gps does tend to be a little off on the location, just an fyi. The driveway looks like it would be pretty slippery when its wet out, so i was glad it didn't rain on us.
