Dune Town Camp-Resort (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park)

This is a campground. Great place to camp with the family. Sites are shaded, nice and wide. Walking distance to Craigs Cruisers amusement park, ice cream, Silverlake Chicken Shack, etc. Quiet hours are thankfully enforced. Had some noisy neighbors the first night who violated the rules after being warned several times. They kept my daughter awake past 2:00am with radio blaring. I think they may have been kicked out. Because they were gone before checkout the next day. We were thankful for that! Nice stay after they were gone.

good place but suddenly adding a 5 night minimum for a Holiday weekend when the Holiday falls on Saturday is just a money grab. Come on. Camping used to be fun. Don't make it a chore or tell families they can't come unless they can get several days off work.

We had stayed here when it was Jelly Stone and enjoyed it very much, we came back 2x’s as Dune Town and will not return. The pool and playground is very nice, the staff is friendly and all around a clean campground. Our complaint is the strict security, we have been to many campgrounds and follow the rules however there is no room for acceptance. Quiet time is 11pm, which is completely acceptable, there was a small group of us and we were continuously told to be quiet. The issue is we had no music on, lights were all off and not one complaint by neighbors. The next day we went in and spoke with the office and were told the security left 3 notes but they even mentioned not one neighbor complained: |Your time to go in is at 1 AM, there were 3 of us whispering, no lights and no music on and

We tent camped and have 0 complaints! So close to the dunes, plenty of things to do for kids. The Check in, and check out process was a breeze, bathrooms were clean and fully functional. The camp store on site had about anything you could hope for or forgot. Additionally, If you're wanting to hang a hammock, site 70 and 89 both have ready trees. There were definitely more, but those ones did for sure 😃

Took my daughter on her first camping adventure with one of her classmates and her father. My daughter LOVED it and is already asking when we can go back. Some highlights are extremely clean grounds! I mean the cleanest I've ever seen. Partly from the very respectful guests and the hard working staff. Going back to the respectful guests quiet hours were just that, quiet. Plenty for kids to do from the pool, hay ride, and playground. I must assume they spray for insects as I never had to pull out the bug spray while on the grounds. If I had to find a negative, I would ask that the showers be modernized with cleaning in mind. Super close to all the action of the center of town. And short drive to the ORV sand dunes nearby. Highly recommend.
