Check before you go. No campfires due to fire risk. The trails are also closed. We saw lots of wild life. Keep food up, we were visited by a bear. Tent camping was comfortable through rain and dust. Had a wonderful time.

I pulled in with my camper and looked for a spot there were so many good spots it was super peaceful and nice lots of ATV/UTV trails and the views were exceptional one of my favorite places to visit or camp.

This place use to be great. Now too many people have found this hidden Jem. I Don’t mind the side by sides. Just everyone wants to ride on the dirt road and not the trails. So we hiked the trails. Talked to some other campers and they were saying that people have changed and hogging the sites for them selves. Glad I found a spot for the weekend.

Come here often for a quick get away. Boondock camping with a variety of spots to choose from. We love to bring our horses up here and ride. Rock Fire pits at all the camp grounds. My only complaint is really inconsiderate off road vehicles riders that can't keep an idle speed past camps. We love to set up our hammocks and relax. There are several sheep herders that come up so it's always fun to watch the sheep go through camp in the morning. Our daughter loves to watch them.

Nice area. My pups ran off from here on 7/4/25. They ran off during a thunderstorm. Anyone see them please contact me. Update we have located and have our two pups, they are home and doing well. The city pups sure did survive their ordeal in "Der Wild"
