My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Minnesota (traveling in a 30ft. Class C Motorhome with no tow vehicle). The campground was peaceful and the hiking trail around the park was nice. There's lake access with a little beach. There is no laundry room and you have to pay for showers. Cute little town within walking distance. I'd recommend checking out KD's Bear Den. We'd stay here again if passing through.

This is a nice campground, with a few small caveats. The web site was not up to date with regard to which sites do and don't have sewer (hint: site 10 does not). There could also be another dumpster or two (or bear proof trash receptacles) throughout the campground, not just at the entrance which is rather far away. Dog waste bags and receptacles throughout the campground, and an enclosed dog run would be great additions. The shower price of $1.75 for 5 minutes is a bit ridiculous. Update: After we brought it to their attention, they did fix their web site so it's correct now.

We booked a last-minute stay here while heading up to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed at Site 20, which was spacious enough for our 40-foot rig and offered a peaceful, scenic location just off Drummond Lake. The area is pretty quiet with limited amenities, so be sure to come prepared—there’s a small general store nearby if you need basic supplies. Overall, a great little spot to stop and recharge. Would definitely recommend if you’re passing through!

Hidden Gem. I stayed at this campground for 3 nights during an ATV trip in the Clam Lake area. This campground was very well kept. I appreciated the clean restrooms/showers and the 20/30/50A hookups options available at the sites. I stayed on site 13 and 16 for different nights and each was great.

This is a wonderful little campground. There are two loops (upper and lower). Lower is wooded. Upper is not. It seems to be geared to UTV riders with a trail right there. We used it as a base to tour the northern waterfalls, kayak out of Bayfield and ride moped on Madeline Island. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Its very clean, very quiet and reasonably priced.
